This service is offered exclusively to areas within our local delivery zone, the term

 "hand-delivery" means your package will be delivered "by hand" by one of our own drivers to the recipient’s address.

Hand Delivery - Delivery Date

During your order you will be prompted for a preferred delivery date.

The next available date will be shown to you. A same day service is available to our hand delivery locations in Brisbane. The daily cut off time is displayed on our home page. Our delivery times vary depending on location, therefore set time delivery preferences cannot always be guaranteed.

Hand Delivery - Incorrect Address Supplied

It is your obligation that the delivery address you provide to us is sufficient and correct at the time of ordering. If we are supplied with an insufficient or incorrect delivery address, this may result in late delivery of your gift and/or additional delivery fees. We assume no liability for mis-delivery if incomplete or incorrect details are provided.

Hand Delivery – when no one is home – and it is safe to leave:

If no one is at home when our drivers attempt delivery and we have access to the property, the driver will leave the gift in a safe place that is out of the sun and discreet from the road. Once left in a safe place, a card is also left in the mailbox as a courtesy, to help the recipient locate where the gift has been left. We will not accept liability for any loss or damage arising from items lost, stolen or damaged after delivery has taken place.

Hand Delivery – when no one is home – but it is not safe to leave:

If no one is at home when our drivers attempt delivery, and the driver considers the location not safe to leave, or if we do not have access to the property, we make every effort to contact the recipient if we have a phone number for them. If we have been unable to contact the recipient or sender, a calling card is left with our contact details and the gift is returned to base awaiting a response from them. An additional delivery fee may be payable.



More Information about Courier Delivery

‘Shipped By Courier’ is a term for all orders being delivered to areas outside of our local delivery zone will be shipped via one of our trusted third-party couriers. We regularly use Startrack and Aramex (Fastway).

Courier Delivery- Delivery Date

When gifts are sent with external couriers, we ship items Monday-Thursday as couriers do not work over weekends, this avoids gifts being held up over the weekend in courier depots. Monday arrival dates to areas outside of Brisbane may not be available.  Our team make every effort for your gift to be delivered on or before your preferred delivery date. Whilst every care is taken to ensure accurate and safe delivery, we cannot accept responsibility for unforeseen circumstances, such as theft, or a parcel not arriving at a certain time or place and cannot provide compensation for any late deliveries that are at the fault of the third-party courier. It is the responsibility of the sender to confirm with us an expected delivery time for your specific delivery, so you have an understanding of how long your specific delivery location will take.

Courier Delivery: When the address is incorrect

It is your obligation that the delivery address you provide to us is sufficient and correct at the time of ordering.  Once an item has been sent with a courier company, it cannot be re-directed while in transit and will need to be returned to us before being sent to the new or correct address.  Should a gift be returned to us due to an incorrect address provided by you, we can re-send the item for an additional freight charge. We will inform the sender if your parcel is returned to us. If an item is returned to us more than 30 days after the original dispatch date, due to being unclaimed or addressed incorrectly, we will cancel the order due to the perishability of food items, delivery and return costs. A refund or redelivery is not available at this point.

Where a gift is sent to the wrong address due to your error and not returned to us, we will not be able to retrieve the gift and you will need to place a new order at your own cost.

Courier Delivery: When no one is home

When there is no one home and the parcel is delivered with a third-party courier, they will not attempt to contact the gift recipient if no one is at home when the gift arrives. They will either leave at the door or the courier will leave a calling card advising where the gift can be collected from. This can be either a local post office or parcel collect point. The information will be provided on the calling card. If the package is not collected within a short timeframe it will be returned to Gifts to a Door.

 
Delivery Terms 
Delivery to Home Addresses

To ensure prompt and successful delivery it is preferable that you provide a delivery address where someone will be home during business hours to sign for receipt of your gift. It is advisable to consider if delivering to a work address would be better during business hours.

Where possible, we also ask that you provide the recipient’s contact number so that we can contact them in case of an incorrect delivery address or no one answering the door.

 

Deliveries to Businesses

For deliveries to business addresses, we ask that you include the business name so that the courier can locate the correct destination more easily. It is usual practice for us deliver to either the main reception, security desk or mailroom depending on the procedure for that particular business.

 

Deliveries to Hospitals

Please ensure your recipient will still be admitted for the whole day of your delivery.

Please provide as much information as possible, including the ward and room number. While every effort is made to deliver directly to the recipient, we may be required to leave the delivery at the Ward Reception and staff will take the gift to the recipient.

Latex balloons cannot be accepted in some hospitals, to avoid coming into contact with Latex Allergy patients & staff. Please only send FOIL balloons to hospitals.

 

Deliveries to Retirement Villages

Please note that while every effort is made to deliver directly to the recipient, due to Retirement Village or Nursing Home procedures, we may be required to leave the delivery at the main office or reception and staff will take the gift to the recipient.

 

Deliveries to Secure Apartments or Rural Properties

If delivering to a secure apartment or rural property with closed or locked gates, a recipient phone number must be provided with your order, so that the recipient can be reached at time of delivery to gain access. If entry cannot be gained, the gift will be returned to our base & you will be contacted to arrange re-delivery, which will incur an additional fee. 

 

Deliveries to PO Boxes and Mail Lockers

Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver to PO Boxes or Mail Lockers

 

Fruit & Balloons

Gifts containing Fruit or Balloons are not available for delivery outside of Brisbane.
